The One-Year Executive MBA program offers you an innovative curriculum that combines group work with deep self-development insights and strategic know-how. The program's applied learning methods ensure you are putting the insights you gain in class into practice. Our aim is to dramatically accelerate the leadership potential and decision-making skills of each of our students.

The program is structured around four terms, each of which includes a one-week residential module in downtown Toronto. The condensed schedule is designed for both personal and professional flexibility. Regular class sessions take place over two days, twice a month, on a Friday and Saturday.

Pre-program

Pre-program sessions and events scheduled in August and September assist new students with the back to school experience. You will engage with future classmates and socialize with current EMBA students.

Core Program

The core program begins with foundational management courses. Over the course of the program you will focus on specific topics and application to real business situations and problems, making your learning immediately applicable. 

Capstone

The final Capstone week serves as the culminating experiential activity during which students put together all the concepts they have learned throughout the program.
The Rotman One-Year Executive MBA curriculum integrates the strengths and research coming out of the school with exposure to the Creative Destruction Lab, Behavioural Economics in Action at Rotman (BEAR) centre, and the Leadership Development Lab. International electives are also available, letting students explore global opportunities for learning at one of our distinguished partner institutions.
