This short course helps investors, entrepreneurs and board chairs understand the principles that lead to the mitigation of failure, increasing the chances of success for their entrepreneurial ventures. The course not only examines the typical and preferred investment instruments and signs which investors and entrepreneurs should look out for, but also seeks to answer the question:

So I have secured the investment, how do we take the business to the next level?

Whether you are an investor or an entrepreneur, have ambitions to become a Venture Capitalist or are an advisor on a board, you’ll learn mediation skills, how to recognise the use and abuse of power games, and the effect of cultural, economic and social capital on board and team decision-making.

Over three consecutive days you will learn both theory and practice, review and discuss case studies to consolidate your learning, and debate with peers on your own business circumstances.
