Program for Leadership Development (PLD) Barcelona

Overview

The PLD Barcelona is an intensive, holistic program, specifically designed to give executives the knowledge and skills they need to maximize their professional and personal effectiveness.

The program's comprehensive curriculum centers on three core modules and addresses key management areas, including finance, marketing and leadership. Through in-depth discussions dealing with authentic business scenarios, participants sharpen their analytical and decision-making skills.

The final phase of the program involves participation in an optional IESE Short Focused Program of your choice at one of IESE's campuses in Europe or at the school's New York Center in Manhattan. This will allow you to deepen your understanding of a specific industry or competency. You can delve into subjects such as leading virtual teams, sustainable business strategies, social media and digital media strategies

Participants

The PLD Barcelona seeks participants with the knowledge and experience to contribute to class discussion and group work. They are selected to ensure a wide diversity of companies, sectors and cultural backgrounds. Classes comprise between 35 and 40 participants of about 20 different nationalities.

Participants are often functional managers, directors, project managers or professional specialists, among others.
